evlamar Tablet is a phosphate binding drug used to treat hyperphosphatemia in patients with chronic kidney disease. When taken with meals, it binds to dietary phosphate and prevents its absorption.

How to use

HyperphophataemiaOral:

Adults:
Initially take 0.8-1.6 gm thrice daily with each meal,
based on serum phosphate level and maintenance dose will be: 0.8-4 gm with each meal.
Patients switching from calcium acetate based on current dosage: 667 mg calcium acetate is equivalent to 800 mg sevelamer (carbonate/HCI).
